R. Kyle Womack, P.E., F.NSPE is a Senior Consultant specializing in strategic planning and business development for architecture and engineering firms. He has worked with the CrossGroup since 2009 to develop and facilitate leadership development programs. Kyle works with architecture and engineering firms including the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm with 300+ employees. Because of his professional expertise and extensive leadership experience, Kyle provides key insight into common challenges engineering firms face. He partners with an organization’s leaders to understand these challenges and takes a tailored approach to create strategic solutions.

Kyle’s experience includes 40 years as a consulting engineer with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper. He served on the board of directors for over 25 years and as the Midland Office Manager for 30 years. His focus over the last five years has specifically been on business development, strategic planning, career development, leadership development, and organizational structure.

Kyle has taken on numerous leadership roles in his profession including serving as the State President of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and as vice-chairman of the Texas Engineering Foundation. He is also a Fellow Member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. His service to the community has included serving as President of the Midland Chamber of Commerce, and as the President of the Midland-Odessa Transportation Alliance. He was also the President of the Buffalo Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Chairman of the Administrative Board for St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Midland.

A native of the Midland/Odessa area, Kyle obtained his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is currently a member of the Texas Tech Civil Engineering Academy. In 2013, Kyle was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve as a Board Member of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
